Bonus issue of up to 131,999,790 new ordinary shares in Focus Point Holdings Berhad ("Focus Point") ("Focus Point Shares") ("Bonus Shares") on the basis of 2 Bonus Shares for every 5 existing Focus Point Shares held as at 5.00 p.m. on 19 April 2023 ("Entitlement Date")

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “EX-BONUS ISSUE” as from: 18 Apr 2023
2)    The last date of lodgment : 19 Apr 2023
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
        a)    Selling Broker to deduct <2/7>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
        b)    Buying Broker to deduct <28.57%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
        c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <2/7>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks 1 :

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 19 Apr 2023 with bonus issue of FOCUSP shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive FOCUSP bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his FOCUSP shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (18 Apr 2023).

For example, if Mr X purchases 500 FOCUSP shares on cum basis on 17 Apr 2023, Mr X should receive 500 shares on 19 Apr 2023. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 200 FOCUSP shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 19 Apr 2023 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 700 FOCUSP shares on or after the Ex-Date i.e. from 18 Apr 2023 onwards.

Remarks 2 :

The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 20 April 2023, being the next market day after the Entitlement Date on 19 April 2023.

The notices of allotment will be issued and dispatched to all entitled shareholders of Focus Point not later than 4 market days after the date of the listing and quotation of the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
