The Board of Directors of Focus Point wishes to announce that Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Point, had on 21 October 2011 (of which the Form 9 was received on 25 October 2011), incorporated a 60%-owned subsidiary known as Truesight Eyewear Optical Sdn Bhd (Company No. 965189-V) (“Truesight”). Truesight was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1965 with an initial issued and paid-up share capital of RM10.00 comprising 10 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. The remaining 40% interest in Truesight is owned by Ms Goh Phea See.
The intended principal activity of Truesight is in the business of operating professional eye care centre with an outlet located at Lot FK 01, 1st Floor, IOI Mall, Batu 9, Jalan Puchong, Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The incorporation of Truesight does not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital of Focus Point and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings. It also does not have any material effect on the net assets, gearing and earnings of Focus Point for the financial year ending 31 December 2011.
None of the Directors, major shareholdings of Focus Point and/or persons connected with them, have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of Truesight.
