The Board of Directors of Focus Point wishes to announce that Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Point, had on 27 September 2012 (of which Form 9 was received on 28 September 2012), incorporated a 90%-owned subsidiary known as Care Point Optical Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1018636-P) (“Care Point”).  Care Point was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1965 with an initial issued and paid up share capital of RM10.00 comprising 10 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.  The remaining 10% interest is owned by Mr Lee Kim Huong.

The intented principal activity of Care Point is in the business of operating professional eye care centre with an outlet located at Lot G35, City One, Lot 5543, Block 16, Kuching Central Lane District, Jalan Tun Jugah/Song, 93350, Kuching, Sarawak.

The incorporation of Care Point does not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital of Focus Point and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings.  It also does not have any material effect on the net assets, gearing and earnings of Focus Point for the financial year ending 31 December 2012.

None of the Directors, major shareholdings of Focus Point and/or persons connected with them, have any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of Care Point.
