The Board of Directors of Focus Point wishes to announce that Esprit Shoppe Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Point has incorporated a 60%-owned subsidiary namely, Optolab Sdn Bhd on 13 March 2015.

The initial authorised capital of Optolab Sdn Bhd is RM400,000/- divided into 400,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each and paid up capital is RM10,000/- divided into 10,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. The remaining 40% of shareholding in the capital of Optolab Sdn Bhd is held by Ng Weng Leong.    

The intended principal activity of Optolab Sdn Bhd is to carry on the business of trading of medical products, including but not limited to medical equipment and medical devices.

The incorporation of Optolab Sdn Bhd would not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Focus Point and are not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of Focus Point Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2015.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them has any direct or indirect interest in the incorporation of Optolab Sdn Bhd.
