FOCUS POINT HOLDINGS BERHAD (884238-U) ("FOCUS POINT" or "THE COMPANY") ACQUISITION BY FOCUS POINT VISION CARE GROUP SDN BHD, A WHOLLY- OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF FOCUS POINT HOLDINGS BERHAD, OF A 5-STOREY SHOP OFFICE, SITUATED AT UNIT 7 BLOCK I, JALAN PJU 1/37, DATARAN PRIMA, 47301 PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR FOR CASH CONSIDERATION OF RM3,400,000.00 (ACQUISITION)

We refer to your Company’s announcement dated 12 May 2016, in respect of the aforesaid matter.

In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:-

1.            The size of the land and amount of useable space of the 5-storey shop office.

2.            The quantification of the market value of the Property

3.            The particulars of all liabilities, including contingent liabilities and guarantees to be assumed by Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd, arising from the Acquisition.

Further to the announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad of 12 May 2016 in relation to the Acquisition, the Board of Directors of Focus Point wishes to provide the additional information as listed below:-

1)         The size of the land and amount of useable space of the 5-storey shop office

            The size of the land is 118 square meter and useable space of the 5-storey shop office is 666 square meter.        

2)         The quantification of the market value of the Property

           The market value of the Property based on a variation carried out by MacReal International Sdn Bhd is RM3,400,000.00

3)         The particulars of all liabilities, including contingent liabilities and guarantees to be assumed by Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd, arising from the Acquisition.

            There are no other liabilities, including contingent liabilities and guarantees to be assumed by Focus Point Vision Care Group arising from the Acquisition.
